Japan is one of the most technologically advanced countries in the world.
Though to look at it, sometimes one wonders, why are there so many places that use outdated methods?
For example: when I first came to visit Japan back in 2000, I tired to use my credit card at a well known electronics chain that is still in business today.
However they wouldn’t accept the card because they only accepted cash…………wow!
Fast forward to 2018 and there are still places such as the post office that still refuse credit cards.
Stores also sell 4K TVs and smartphones everywhere. But schools still use VCR machines and fax machines as well, it is amazing to see.
Hopefully more schools will join in and accept more computers, social media devices and other computerized wonders to help students learn in today’s world.
